Shawnee Mission Indian School Museum
- The team was unable to obtain access to a private investigation into this school, however our team did go for a tour, in which we were very lucky, we were the only ones other than the tour guide there in the building, so with luck being on our side we did an investigation, we used camera's, EMF detector and digital recorders. After a 20 minute video we began our 1 hour investigation, we were allowed to go throughout the school from the main floor to the second floor on our own. Here is some information from the website we would like to share and we encourage our supports to go for a tour it is well worth the time. And the admission goes for a worthy cause.
In the 19th century Americans wanted more land, and settlement moved west. As white settlers satisfied a thirst for land, countless American Indians faced the end of a traditional way of life. Shawnee Mission was one of many established as a manual training school attended by boys and girls (like Sallie Bluejacket, pictured at left) from Shawnee, Delaware, and other Indian nations from 1839 to 1862. Visit this 12-acre National Historic Landmark and learn the stories of those who lived there.

We would like to thank Anita Faddis, our tour guide who graciously allowed us to do this investigation.
Please check back for photos and evps, captured. An interesting note worth event that happened while Julie was sitting on the bench outside the school, Julie got a 4.0 on the EMF detector, Shayna and Debbe were checking out the grounds and when we reached Julie she told us she had a hit....it appeared to be a child, the detector indicted by moving it from side to side and up and down, it seemed to be about 3 feet tall and about 1 to 1 1/2 feet wide. Debbe passed her hand in front of the EMF and the EMF dropped to 0. Hopefully we captured an EVP.
Please check back.
